When Living Hope Family Worship Center learned about a two-year-old girl in their community who needed a little extra love this Christmas, they didn’t hesitate to step in. This precious child, born with drugs in her system, has been thriving under the care of her aunt, who has worked tirelessly to help her meet developmental milestones.
But this season is challenging for her aunt, who is raising three other children in addition to this little girl. With both a birthday and Christmas just around the corner, the family was feeling stretched thin. That’s when Living Hope, under the leadership of Pastor Dave and Tammy Spedden, stepped up to make a difference.
Pastor Dave and Tammy brought the need to the church’s attention and inspired the congregation to take action. Together, the church members rallied to purchase gifts, wrap them with care, and ensure that each of the four children in the home received exactly what they needed to make this Christmas special.
Because of Living Hope’s kindness, these four children will experience a Christmas they’ll never forget. From the carefully chosen presents to the joy of being surrounded by love and generosity, this family has been reminded that they are not alone.
The impact of Living Hope’s efforts goes beyond this holiday season. It’s a testament to the power of a caring community and the heart of a church dedicated to showing Christ’s love in action.
