Serving Children & Families Across the United States
For the first 25 years of their ministry, Ted and Angie Stackpole dedicated their lives to pastoral leadership, including 15 fruitful years as lead pastors at First Assembly of God in Palatka, Florida. In March 2019, they stepped into a new calling as U.S. Missions Chaplains to the Foster and Adoption Community. This shift allowed them to bring their faith and leadership into a space where it is deeply needed—supporting children and families navigating the complexities of the foster care system. Their journey began in 2013 with a simple “yes” to opening their home to children in foster care. That yes grew into a calling, eventually leading to the adoption of six children which expanded their family to a total of eleven children.
Angie pours her heart into local support efforts, leading in-person gatherings for foster families, building bridges with case managers, and serving through the CarePortal network. Ted focuses on equipping others—offering training for foster/adoptive parents, church volunteers, and child welfare professionals. Together, they are a powerful team, offering both local and national support to the foster care community.
As leaders in the foster and adoption movement, Ted and Angie have become trusted voices across the country. Through national trainings, online resources, and in-person events, they provide critical support to families caring for children from hard places. In addition, Ted serves as a key leader in the PenFL Foster Care Network, working with ambassadors to raise awareness, recruit foster families, and help churches build sustainable foster care ministries.
Their vision is bold yet simple: every child deserves the opportunity to experience the love of Christ through a stable home, a supportive family, and compassionate care. Rooted in their faith and driven by compassion, the Stackpoles see their mission as more than a ministry—it’s a divine calling to bring healing, hope, and restoration to vulnerable children and the families who care for them.
