In 2018, Angie and I could never have imagined the journey God had in store for us. At the time, we were focused on serving and making an impact right where we lived. Yet, a prophetic word from Jay Mooney, former executive director of COMPACT Family Services, planted a seed in our hearts. He spoke of a missions calling that would stretch across the United States—and beyond.
Today, that prophecy is unfolding in ways we never expected. Each marker on our map represents a city where one or more families are actively caring for vulnerable children. By the end of 2024, we are on track to be serving children in nearly 700 cities across the U.S. and around the world.
Through professional training with subject matter experts and spiritual and emotional support provided by chaplaincy ministries, we are helping stabilize children in these homes. This holistic approach equips families to meet not only the trauma impacts of the children in their care but also their emotional and spiritual needs.
