This Christmas season, River City Church in Palatka, Florida, has truly embodied the spirit of generosity and love. As one of our newest partners, River City Church joined hands with our local network, utilizing CarePortal and case managers to meet the needs of children and families in their community.
Through these connections, River City identified five families to bless this Christmas. To make the experience extra special, the church hosted a “Wrapping for Jesus” party. Ten adult volunteers and four children gathered with joyful hearts, wrapping gifts and preparing to spread holiday cheer.
The result? Nine children whose Christmas mornings will be filled with excitement and joy, all thanks to the kindness of their community. Some families will visit the church to pick up their gifts, while others will experience the magic of a personal delivery, bringing smiles and hope right to their doorsteps.
We’re so thankful for the generosity and heart of River City Church and the volunteers who made this possible. Their efforts remind us of the power of community and the impact of showing Christ’s love in action.
