Today, I want to shine a light on someone who exemplifies the spirit of generosity and compassion—my son, Zeke. From the moment he joined our family, Zeke has had a remarkable gift for giving. He’s not only thoughtful with his gifts but also has a heart that overflows with a desire to help others.
Recently, we had the opportunity to serve four children who had been sleeping on the floor. As we prepared to go, Zeke mentioned something that touched me deeply. He told me that the next request we received for $75, he wanted to fund it. His willingness to step in and meet needs, even before they arise, is a reflection of his selfless character.
But Zeke’s impact doesn’t stop at his generosity. Today, his strength and compassion were invaluable. I was grateful to have him by my side—not just for his muscle as we delivered the beds but for the heart he brings to every act of service. His presence reminded me of the importance of pouring love into others and seeing the world through eyes of kindness.
I’m proud to call Zeke my son and humbled by the way God brought him into our family. He’s not just a helper; he’s an inspiration to those around him. His actions remind us that it’s not the size of the gift but the size of the heart behind it that truly makes a difference.
Thank you, Zeke, for being who you are and for showing the world what it means to love and serve selflessly.
