This month, I had the privilege of training an inspiring group of volunteers at South Putnam Church in Crescent City, Florida. These individuals aren’t new to serving their community—they’re well-known for their dedication to outreach and generosity. However, this training took their service to a deeper level, preparing them to step directly onto the doorsteps of homes where at-risk children are being cared for.
What makes this training unique is its focus on relationship-centered ministry. Our network isn’t just about giving assistance; it’s about building connections among churches, businesses, agencies, and community responders. These connections allow us to create a support system that extends far beyond basic needs, encompassing dignity, respect, and grace.
South Putnam Church has been a crucial partner in this mission since day one. Their commitment and trust have paved the way for a collaboration that brings real hope and stability to the children and families we serve. Together, we’re creating a community that embodies love in action, standing alongside those who need it most.
To the volunteers at South Putnam Church and all others involved: thank you for being the hands and feet of this ministry, working tirelessly to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Your efforts remind us that with every doorstep we approach, there’s an opportunity to share hope and healing.
We look forward to the road ahead as we continue partnering to make a lasting impact on the lives of these families.
