Understanding Trauma-Informed Care: Recognizing Signs, Symptoms, and Triggers is designed to equip caregivers, educators, ministry leaders, and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support children and adults who have experienced trauma.

Chaplain Ted Stackpole serves the foster and adoption community with deep compassion and commitment, drawing from years of experience as a spiritual leader and advocate for vulnerable children and families. He is an ordained minister and an endorsed chaplain with the Assemblies of God, offering guidance, hope, and pastoral care to those navigating the complexities of foster care and adoption. A devoted father of eleven, Ted enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and hopes to one day fulfill his dream of exploring the rugged beauty of Alaska.

Josh Hawkins, M.A. (Trauma and Neuroscience), is the Pastor of Fremont Community Church in Fremont, Indiana, where he has served for nearly a decade. He is also the Lead Trainer for Resilien LLC, equipping others to understand and apply the principles of trauma and neuroscience in practical ways. Married for 26 years and a proud father of four, Josh brings both professional insight and personal experience to his work in faith and resilience.
