Course Description
Let Them Grow: Empowering Foster and Adoptive Kids with Trust and Choice is a transformative course designed for foster and adoptive parents, caregivers, and professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of how trust and autonomy can promote healing and growth in children from hard places. Rooted in the innovative “Let Them Theory,” this course explores how embracing a mindset that balances connection with freedom helps children build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Through expert insights and practical strategies, participants will learn how to apply the Let Them Theory in everyday parenting—honoring developmental readiness, setting healthy boundaries without exerting unnecessary control, and fostering an environment where children feel safe to explore, make choices, and ultimately thrive. You’ll discover why granting agency is a vital part of healing trauma and how to discern when to step back—and when to step in.
Join us to empower the children in your care by trusting them, respecting their individuality, and letting them grow into their fullest potential.

Melody and her husband have been married for 25 years and have known each other since childhood. Before her children moved out, her beloved mother moved in, adding another layer of richness to their multigenerational home.
